Young Professionals Network panelists in our NextGen program last week offered hard-earned advice to the 100 students in the audience. The panel discussion titled, Managing Through Change, Transitioning your communication skills from college to the workplace focused on following through, asking questions, speaking and writing clearly in emails, voicemails, text messages, project presentations and team work. Many thanks to our terrific panelists this year: Sarah Dunn of Mars Wrigley Confectionery, Adam Stearns of Driam USA, Tessa Porter of Ferrara Candy Company, and Tom Scott of Catty Corporation. Lunchtime program included Krystal Hicks of Lindt & Sprungli (USA) Inc. demonstrating effective writing and editing for the audience’s LinkedIn profiles as well.
