Students in Marketing, Food Science & Culinary invited to Career Education Opportunity

125 students and faculty representing 9 institutions of higher learning have received scholarships to attend The Confectionery Foundation’s education day at NCA’s Sweets & Snacks Expo.

This marks the 4th year of this education program designed to introduce talented students studying in marketing, food science, culinary, engineering, hospitality and other food-focused majors to many career paths available in the American confectionery industry.

We will welcome students and faculty from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business, Western Michigan University, University of Wisconsin Madison, Chicago’s French Pastry School, Triton College, College of DuPage, Illinois Institute of Art, Bethel College, Art Institutes International Minnesota.

Industry volunteers from more than 50 confectionery, snack, chocolate, packaging, and ingredient companies donate their time to speak with our guests in this Mentor-guided career education opportunity.
