NCA announces YPN Leadership Program

Five young professionals have been tapped as the first participants in NCA’s Future Leadership Program, which aims to support, educate, and improve access and opportunities for young industry members looking to advance their careers.

The 2016 class is: Sarah Atkinson, director of marketing for Atkinson Candy Co.; Elizabeth Clair, national confectionery sales manager for Barry Callebaut AG; Byard Ebling, client development manager/business manager at Shankman & Assoc.; Amy Guittard, director of marketing for Guittard Chocolate Co.; and Chris Jenco, CEO of Jenco Brothers’ Candy.

The one-year program will run through the 2016 calendar year and includes complimentary registration to NCA’s State of the Industry Conference, Washington Forum and the Sweets & Snacks Expo, the Association reports. In addition, participants will be paired with highly regarded industry leaders serving as formal mentors.
