Update your resume and work on your personal statement. The Confectionery Foundation is accepting student applications for the May 23rd NextGen program at Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago. Application period will remain open until April 20, 2018. Dr. Frank Gambino, Director of Food/CPG Marketing department at Western Michigan University writes, “I have had the good fortune to bring my Food/CPG Marketing students to the Sweet & Snack Expo for the past 4 years. It is a great opportunity for our students to experience first-hand a professional trade show. The students are able to see how manufacturers and buyers interact on the trade floor and are able to see the many new products that are coming to market. The Confectionery Foundation does a wonderful job of pairing the students with industry mentors which is immensely beneficial to the students. The networking and exposure to potential employers is an immeasurable experience. We greatly appreciate the effort the Confectionery Foundation puts forth on behalf of the many students who attend.”
